As an author, I aim to create a world where children feel safe, included, and heard. I hope to help readers see each day as a gift and each challenge as an opportunity to create. It is the philosophy I live by.

I wake up every morning with the gift of a new day. Some days are work, and others are full of potential, surprises and adventure. Depending on the weather, I could be hiking, golfing, cycling, kayaking, dining with friends, participating with my Outrigger canoe club, or even horseback riding!

I’m always planning my next getaway, whether a day trip, glamping, a resort or a cruise. I have been most fortunate this year in getting away in Canada and a few trips abroad.

And, of course, one of my favourite pastimes is writing my next book!
