Land Acknowledgement
Brainspired Publishing acknowledges that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island, First Nation.
Acknowledging territory shows recognition of and respect for the original peoples of this land. It is recognition of their presence both in the past and the present.
We are grateful and honoured to have the opportunity to work on this land.
We strive to bring the stories of the unheard and silenced voices of the 2SLGBTQ+ first peoples of this land to all. We acknowledge that some stories have already been lost, and we aim to ensure that those that remain, and those that are to come, are preserved for the future.
